Why Your Vote Matters

Bloomington deserves diverse viewpoints. Your vote for me ensures that our community will have it.

You've heard it before: every vote matters - and it's true. However, this year, your vote is especially important. City Council elections are often decided by just a few votes.

The nine-member Bloomington City Council currently consists of eight Democrats and one Republican. That Republican has chosen not to seek re-election after two successful terms. Without your vote, the Council may become controlled completely by Democrats.
